Just then, a knock sounded on the door. Evelyn opened the door after a brief knock and entered.
In her white gown, she looked the picture of nobility and grace. Her long, straight hair cascaded down to her
waist, adding a touch of gentleness to her presence.
“The auction is starting, Brian. Let's go,” she said.
Gwen's expression stiffened when she saw Evelyn
