Chapter 537
"What?"
When Edwin saw the new window, his face contorted.
The new window showed that the boulder was just nothing but an ordinary boulder.
"Look at the sapphire. It's stuck on deliberately with super glue." Yolanda gave the windowed boulder back to
Edwin and said, "Look carefully here. You can still see traces of it."
When Yolanda was done, there was an uproar.
In gemstone gambling, buyers could only lament their lack of luck when they made the wrong judgment.
However, if the shop was the one that had tampered with the boulders and sold them in place of regular
boulders, this was a fraudulent act.
Yolanda looked at the boulder in Edwin's hand and knew that boulders like this couldn't possibly have contained
gems. So, it would mean that the windowed portion had to be man-made.
"This is the type of boulder that would only be sold for a few thousand dollars in Mexayko. If it wasn't altered, no
one would pay any attention to it at all."
There were a lot of gemstone gamblers who would spend a little more to get windowed boulders so they could
have a larger chance and a stronger guarantee. But what they didn't know was that windowed boulders were the
easiest to be tampered with.

cto Caldwell Antiques to gamble for gemstones.
He had never gotten a high-quality gem before this, and he thought it was due to his lack of experience. Now,
from the looks of it, it was probably also closely related to the shop where he bought the boulders from.
"I frequent your shop, thinking shops of your size wouldn't lie. | had no idea that you were just as heartless."
Edwin hurled the stone at Edna.
"Payback, or I'll sue you!"
Edna looked stormily at Yolanda.
Other than its size, the reason why Caldwell Antiques was so famous in Riverdale was because they had a good
reputation, and their slogan was that they wouldn't lie to anyone from children to women to men. This enticed a
lot of amateurs, who cto purchase from them.
Now that Yolanda had exposed them for tampering with the boulders, their reputation, which was already going
down, went down even more.
There were still a number of bystanders who were paying customers in the store. When they found out that
Caldwell Antiques tampered with their goods, they didn't care if the antiques they bought were real or dupes.
They were all screaming for those items to be returned, or they would go to relevant authorities to complain
about them.
Suddenly, the cashier was swarmed with an angry mob trying to return all their purchases.
"Hurry up, we're returning this!"
"Liar!"
"Isn't Mr. Caldwell a part of the Creybia's Famous Four? How could they still sell fake goods?"
"So disgusting!"
Edna and Julie, who were stuck in the crowd, were racking their brains for a solution and for a chance to escape,
but to no avail.
They didn't expect Yolanda to have eyes so sharp that she could tell the authenticity of the boulders.
Now that Caldwell Antiques’ reputation had crumbled completely, not only were their sales of boulders affected,
but all the others, including pottery and drawings all had a nearly 100% return rate as well.
"Crushing your shop's reputation for a mere 800 thousand dollars. How inept."
Yolanda cast a side glance at Edna and Julie. Then, she walked out.
"That bitch!"
"I want you to die a painful death, you bitch!"
Julie was enraged she had lost her rationale. She whipped out a phone and placed a call.
"Jamie, please teach someone a lesson for me."
The smile on Knox's lips had not faltered since leaving Caldwell Antiques.
The once ruthless heir of the Seinfield family now looked a little silly.
If Yolanda didn't require a ride back to the city, she would have left the car a long tago. It was a pretty scary
experience to have someone who would laugh to themselves all the time.
"You're insane, Ms. Henderson!" Knox was oblivious to Yolanda's disdain and continued to laugh in a silly way.
"I've decided to submit to you from now on. You're my boss. You can getto do anything.
"Just calland I'll be there in a jiffy!"
