"Great! How about seven thirty in the morning? I'll wait for you by the entrance!"
"Sure." Yolanda nodded. Gavin would not bother with this kind of competition, so she would have to head to the
contest venue alone anyway. Having company would not hurt.
After spending more twith them, Yolanda realized that students in Class A were not bad people. They just
tended to believe rumors too easily and let those rumors influence them. Once they saw her real abilities, their
prejudices against her were all gone.
After school, Yvonne was at the Henderson residence.
"Yvonne, how's your preparation for the competition going?" Diana was carrying a cup of grapefruit tea. She
knocked on Yvonne's bedroom door.
"I'm still reviewing, but I'm quite confident!" Yvonne put her practice book away and took the tray from Diana.
"Thanks for asking, Mom. I'll definitely place in the top ten!"

The fact that Yvonne did not manage to get into Class A had always bugged Diana. If Yvonne placed well in this
contest, Diana would have something new to brag about during afternoon tea with the other high society moms.
"Don't worry, I'll make it into Class A for sure!" For sreason, Yvonne was so confident in winning the
competition despite it being a highly competitive one in the province.
"Don't overwork yourself though. Take a break before studying more." Diana was delighted to see Yvonne so
confident.
Peace returned to the Henderson residence ever since they kicked Yolanda out of the family. But Diana was
frustrated because problems they thought were solved had resurfaced.
She had to pay damages for selling fake health products. Even Harold had been swamped with loan approval
issues and had not chfor days.
Diana was convinced that Yolanda was taking revenge for being thrown out. She kept hoping that Yolanda would
be abandoned by Gavin and end up coming back here, begging them for forgiveness.
But there was no sign of that happening after all this time, which made Diana bitter. She had nowhere to vent
her anger and frustration.
If Yvonne could place well in the physics competition and make it into Class A, Diana could finally hold her head
high. That was why she had high hopes for Yvonne.
She had invested heavily in a retired Creybia University professor as Yvonne's tutor. She would even bring
Yvonne supper every night and take great care of her.
"Mom, I'm not tired. | want to study more. You should go rest." Sipping her tea, Yvonne said with a faint smile.
"I'll bring the cup down myself later."
"Just leave it for Nora to clean tomorrow. Don't stay up too late, or you'll have no energy for the contest
tomorrow."
After giving more reminders, Diana finally left. Yvonne's smile faded once the door closed. She had finally
realized that Diana only loved her as a trophy to show off. But so what?
It would not matter as long as she would inherit everything the Hendersons owned in the future, especially the
Henderson Group. She had to make sure it would all bechers!
