Chapter 824
Melvin remained serious. "We're not lost-we're here to see you, Dr. Xavier."
"See me? Who are you people?" Dr. Xavier frowned slightly.
Melvin placed a document on his desk. "Did you sign this autopsy report? Did you handle it?"
Dr. Xavier opened the file with confusion and pulled out the papers. After just a glance or two, his expression
shifted-the non the autopsy report was Tina Mendes.
He tried to hide the panic in his eyes. "Yes, that's mine. But who exactly are you?"
"Tell me, why didn't you mention Tina's severe depression in this autopsy report? And why didn't you note the
red swelling and bruising on the back of the body? There's not a single word about it in your report," Melvin said
coldly.
Dr. Xavier averted his gaze. "This is a restricted area. Please leave."
"Answer me." "
"This autopsy report is months old. How could | possibly remember every detail from months ago? Besides, if

Xavier replied angrily.
Melvin had no patience for his deflections. "If I'm breaking the law, someone will carrest me. But you're
about to be finished."
"Get out!" Dr. Xavier pointed toward the door. "If you don't leave now, I'm calling security."
He reached for his desk phone and started dialing numbers.
Melvin walked over and pressed the hang-up button, speaking quietly. "Don't be rash, Dr. Xavier. Since you can't
answer any of my questions, how about we ask something simple ? Like how your banko account suddenly
gained five million overnight." s
Dr. Xavier's eyes widened as he slammed down the phone with a loud "bang."
He stared at them in disbelief, asking warily, "Who are you people?"
Sarah spoke leisurely, "Because of your autopsy report back then, | beca target for everyone's hatred and
endured cyberbullying for months. Don't recognizenow?"
"You? You! You're that Sanders family-!" Dr. Xavier beceven more flustered.
"Dr. Xavier, let's cut to the chase. Give us the real autopsy report," Sarah said, her eyes glinting coldly.
Dr. Xavier shook his head mechanically. "I don't know what you're talking about. What real autopsy report?
There's no such thing."
Melvin had run out of patience. He moved closer to Dr. Xavier and grabbed him by the collar. "Xavier, six months
ago your son had a heart attack and needed a transplant You used your connections to steal a heart that was
meant for another child and gave it to your son. You haven't forgotten that, have you?" s
Dr. Xavier's face went pale. How could he forget something like that?
He and his wife had cried themselves to sleep every night over their son's condition. He'd pulled every string he
could, but still couldn't find a matching heart for his son.
Three days before the attack, he'd spent a fortune and finally gotten inside information from a former classmate
there was a heart that matched his son's, but it wasn't in the official matching database. s
