"I'm not leaving," Liza sulked. "I'll stay here. Tell Fermin to csee me, or I'II..." Jeffrey's voice cfrom upstairs. "Or what?" Liza shivered and looked over. The man was looking down at her from a commanding height.

She had seen Jeffrey in that cave, but she hadn't felt anything unusual at the time. Now, his presence was so overwhelming that she found it hard to breathe.
