Catherine's gaze dropped to the table. She bit her lip, hesitant. "Nothing happened. It's just that I've been thinking about something." She looked up, her eyes meeting Belinda's. "Belinda, do you know about Johnson's upcoming engagement to Miss Wilde?"
Belinda blinked in mild surprise. "Engagement?" A light frown formed between her brows Johnson never mentioned anything about that to me."
Then, she chuckled. "You know how close Johnson and I are-if -om something like that were true, he definitely would've told me. So honestly, I think it's just a rumor. You don't need to worry about that."
