Chapter 198 When Noelle saw the house she had lived in for so many years, a mix of emotions surged through her. It was the first tshe had returned since moving out.

The car pulled up outside the Liddell residence. Cedric glanced at her and asked, "Do you wantto cwith you?" "No, I'll handle it myself. If anything happens, I'll call you," Noelle said, feeling calmer with him nearby.

She got out of the car and walked straight to the door. When she entered the access password, it cback as incorrect.

A mocking smile played on her lips. She rang the doorbell and soon saw Gordon walking out. "When did the password get changed?" she asked with a sarcastic smile.

Standing by the door, Gordon responded indifferently, "Ms. Liddell, Mr. Donovan has instructed that you are not to step foot into the Liddell house without his permission. The password was changed to Ms. Quigley's birthday." Noelle recalled the mishap with the stationary during her exam-it was probably Gordon's doing.

In her previous life, he had always sided with Xenia, bad-mouthing her in front of her brothers.

Noelle stepped forward and kicked the door open. "My parents bought this house. I can cback whenever I want. You're just a servant-know your place!" Her tone was cold.

Without sparing Gordon another glance, she walked straight inside.

Gordon was taken aback by Noelle's sudden change in demeanor. He quickly followed, trying to stop her. "Ms. Liddell, I'm just following Mr. Donovan's orders!" As Noelle entered the living room, Frank happened to cdownstairs.

"Noelle, you're back!" he said, his face lighting up with joy. "Why don't you stay for dinner? I'll have the kitchen prepare something special for you. It's been so long since we ate together." "No thanks. Where's my acceptance letter?" Noelle's expression was cold, devoid of any warmth.

Frank gave a bitter smile. "It's in the study. Let's go upstairs to get it." Noelle followed him but was surprised when he led her to her old room instead.

"Noelle, we've restored your room to how it used to be. Xenia has moved back to her own room too. Take a look. If there's anything you're not happy with, I'll have it taken care of." en Noelle glanced at the room, her expression calm and indifferent. "There's no need. I'm not staying here anyway." Frank sighed. "When our parents bought this house, they left this princess room just for you. It'll always be yours-no one can ever replace you." Noelle turned and headed to the study. "Let's get to the point, shall we?" She was no longer the person who could be swayed by small gestures like these.

Frank handed her the red acceptance letter. "Congratulations, Noelle. You've been accepted to Yole University. Mom and Dad would be so proud of you." Noelle shot back. "Don't bring up Mom and Dad like that. It only makessick." She glanced at the letter, only to notice it had already been opened.

"Who gave you the right to open my mail?" she said, her displeasure evident.

"Noelle, I didn't open it. I knew it was your acceptance letter, and you should be the one to open it," Frank quickly replied.

Noelle handed the letter to him, her voice sharp. "Are you blind? It's clearly been opened!"

"Gordon, chere!" Frank called out, his tone cold. He was equally surprised to see the tampering and En swore he hadn't touched it.

When Gordon appeared at the doorway, Frank questioned himm sternly, "Who else has entered this room besides me? Why has this letter been opened?"

Gordon glanced at the letter and replied nonchalantly, "Mr. Liddell, it's Mr just an acceptance letter. As long as nothing's missing, does it really matter?" Noelle's icy gaze was fixed on him "Was it you who opened it?" "I was just curious what was inside, so I accidentally opened it to take a look," Gordon explained.

From his response, Noelle could tell Gordon wasn't the culprit. This was most likely Xenia's doing. "Check the surveillance footage," she ordered Frank.

If she didn't get to the bottom of this today, she would curse herself to only spell her nbackward!
