Chapter 230
Although Cianna hadn't started this company with the sole intention of making money, she wasn't going to let
those despicable people win. She couldn't leave a mess behind for a woman not even 20 years old to deal with,
especially since she had promised to transfer the company to Yolanda.
Even though Cianna had made a strong statement, everyone present remained silent as they were too scared to
speak up. No one wanted to be the first to act.
Cianna, seeing that none of the senior executives were willing to say anything, suppressed her anger and looked
expectantly at the elder seated to her right.
"Mr. Zimmerman, what do you think about this matter?"
Mr. Zimmerman, who was also known as Hunter Zimmerman, was a well-known pharmacology expert in
Riverdale City.
When Cianna's company, Cinnamine Pharmaceuticals, was first established, she had invited him to serve as an
advisor due to the longstanding relationship between the Lovell and Zimmerman families.

Without that connection, given Hunter's status, he would not have easily agreed to advise a pharmaceutical
company.
"Ms. Lovell, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do this time," Hunter uttered. The look in his eyes was still sharp and
his posture strong, but his expression was filled with concern.
Though this issue wasn't directly his responsibility, he couldn't just ignore it as a special advisor to Cinnamine
Pharmaceuticals.
After all, every year at the end of the fiscal year, Cianna shared a considerable amount of profit with him and
valued his input.
"Unless Lyceo Cosmeceuticals immediately stops their infringement, our losses will be greater than we originally
anticipated."
"Yasmine finally found an opportunity to stomp on us, so there's no way she'll voluntarily give up the benefits
she's gained," Cianna remarked, her tone heavy with disappointment.
"One option is for us to quickly develop a new formula that we can start producing." Hunter sighed.
"But that's almost impossible..."
Developing a new formula was no simple task.
"| even reached out to sof my old colleagues. In the current cosmeceutical market, any mature formula has
already had its rights purchased and patents secured. As for the easily available formulas, they're useless.
There's no way they can compare to our previous chamomile mask.
"I stayed up late last night poring over old books, conducting research, but so far, | haven't found a suitable
formula.”
"So, are we just going to accept defeat?" Cianna asked reluctantly.
"Ms. Lovell, at this point, the only thing we can do is halt the mask production orders planned for next quarter. To
minimize our losses as much as possible, we'll have to sell off all our current inventory before Lyceo
Cosmeceuticals launches their new mask," Hunter informed with a serious tone.
"But what about next quarter? Masks are our company's flagship product and the most profitable. We can't
abandon development in that area," Cianna asked.
"I will work on developing a new formula as soon as possible. It will take time, though. It'll take at least two to
three months, or up to a year at most," Hunter said.

His gaze was intense as he continued, "This is the fastest | can manage. Of course, | can guarantee that once the
formula is complete, it will be just as good, if not better, than the chamomile mask.
"When the tcomes, with the right marketing push, Cinnamine Pharmaceuticals will undoubtedly rise to new
heights."
Hunter's words provided sreassurance to the other executives in the room. However, Cianna still felt
uneasy. If she let Yasmine get away with this, she feared Yasmine would only becbolder in the future.
For a brief moment, Cianna even considered turning to Lloyd's connections to resolve the situation. However,
she quickly dismissed that idea. After all, Lloyd was already dissatisfied with the fact that she and Jeremy hadn't
had children since their marriage.
Even though Yolanda had cured Jeremy's meridian issues, Cianna knew it would be unwise to bother Lloyd over
something like this, at least not until she was pregnant.
"Ha..." ." Cianna exhaled a deep sigh just as she was about to announce the end of the meeting. In her
distraction, she accidentally knocked a folder off the table. It landed near Hunter's feet.
Hunter bent down to pick it up and noticed a half-exposed sheet of paper inside. "Ms. Lovell, what's this?" he
asked, curiosity piqued as he pulled out the A4 paper covered in notes about various herbs.
"Ah... This is..." Cianna struggled to cup with words to describe what the paper was.
