Chapter 236
As someone with a strong intuition and keen observational skills, Yolanda easily noticed Jude's hesitance. Since
he didn't extend his hand for her to take his pulse, she remained still.
In fact, Yolanda didn't need to check his pulse; just by looking at his face, she could roughly identify the issues
with his health. These were problems often undetectable by normal doctors.
"Mr. Kaufman, don't just sit there. Hurry up and let Ms. Henderson check your pulse!" Jeremy urged, feeling
somewhat awkward at Jude's inaction.
"My health issues aren't a big deal. There's no need to trouble Ms. Henderson," Jude replied with a slight smirk
on his lips, though his eyes held no mirth.
"Not a big deal?" Jeremy was taken aback and asked in surprise. "Didn't you say..."

"Mr. Kaufman, you often feel dizzy and have ringing in your ears, and your vision has significantly deteriorated
lately, right?" Yoland asked.
"Ms. Henderson, you're incredible! How did you know this?" Jeremy exclaimed in astonishment.
Jude paused for a moment, then realized that Yolanda had likely heard Jeremy mention his situation. Given that,
it made sense for her to know his symptoms.
"His face already reflects the troubles he's facing right now." In traditional medicine, diagnosis was based on
observation, listening, questioning, and pulse- taking, so it was not just pulse-taking that revealed a patient's
symptoms.
"Is that so?" Jude coldly chuckled with a hint of mockery in his eyes. "Then tell me, what exactly is my illness?"
"You have blockages in the meridians around your heart. This issue is congenital; speople never experience
symptoms in their lifetime, while others may show signs from a young age. It's not life-threatening, but it can be
quite painful for the patient."
"What nonsense!" Jude retorted sharply. "I've been to the hospital for checks numerous times, and | even had a
24-hour ECG done. There's nothing wrong with my heart!"
Upon seeing that the atmosphere had bectense, Jeremy quickly interjected to ease the situation. "Mr.
Kaufman, ECGs aren't effective for everyone."
"So, you think I should trust this girl who can't be more than 20 years old instead of the reports from proper
hospitals?" Jude snapped. He had initially considered how Jeremy might feel, but now he no longer wanted to
hold back.
"Mr. Kaufman! That's a bit much!" Jeremy's expression darkened. "We've been friends for so many years. Do you
not trust me? Ms. Henderson is indeed a miracle doctor; if it weren't for my connection with her, you probably
wouldn't even have been able to get her here!"

"I'm reminding you because we're friends! Don't be fooled and end up being used as well." Jude slammed his
hand on the table and stood up. "It's ridiculous how she's saying | have a heart disease after she took a few
glances at me."
"I never said you have a heart disease," Yolanda replied nonchalantly. "Blockages
in the heart meridians and heart disease are two different things. And your situation is already quite serious. If
you don't seek acupuncture treatment soon, you may face intermittent blindness."
"Enough! Your scare tactics won't work on me!" Jude grabbed his briefcase, pushed his chair back, and made to
leave.
"Jeremy, we've been friends for years; | advise you to cback to your senses. Instead of wasting money on
this scam artist, you might as well go abroad for in vitro fertilization," he remarked while striding toward the
door.
"Mr. Kaufman! Mr. Kaufman!" Jeremy watched Jude's retreating figure. Instead of going after Jude, he only let out
a helpless sigh. "Ms. Henderson, I'm really sorry. | didn't expect him to not believe even what | said."
