Chapter 423
Jeremy continued when Yolanda stayed silent. "If | were interrogating them, I'd make sure they felt the heat!"
"Contact the police, and tell them to avoid enhanced questioning of the suspects." Yolanda was referring to the
unofficial interrogation methods everyone knew about but never discussed.
"Ms. Henderson, do you know the suspects?" Jeremy looked surprised.
"One of them is from the Henderson family."
"What?" Jeremy was stunned. "Ms. Henderson, your family... but..."

"She was deceived. Once we save Mrs. Seinfield Senior, I'll explain everything to Vic."
They took the elevator to the ICU, where a crowd had gathered both inside and outside the ward. Blake spotted
Yolanda and hope flickered in his eyes as he approached. He whispered, "Ms. Henderson, thank god you're here."
Yolanda nodded and entered. The bed was surrounded by people, which made it hard to get close. But through
the gaps she could see Beatrice's pale face and Vic staying by her side.
"Mr. Seinfield, we've run every test possible, but we can't identify the toxin. It's unlike anything we've ever
seen," a middle-aged doctor with glasses reported nervously.
Though Vic was in his fifties, he looked older than that. He had graying hair and deep worry lines. Beatrice's
condition had him visibly distraught. The hospital staff walked on eggshells as they were terrified of setting off
his notorious temper.
"| donate so much money to this hospital every year for all sorts of equipment, and you can't figure this out? Are
you all just collecting paychecks? | want answers by the end of today!" Vic bellowed with fury.
"If anything happens to my mother, I'll hold this hospital responsible!" The tension
in the room was suffocating as Vic continued pressuring the medical staff.
"We're doing everything we can, Mr. Seinfield," the doctor by the bed wiped the sweat from his brow and
answered. They all knew Vic made good on his threats. If Beatrice died here, he would tear the hospital apart.
"Mr. Zimmerman's here! Make way!" A commotion at the door announced the arrival of an elderly man
surrounded by a few people. He was none other than Hunter Zimmerman. Hunter went straight to the bed
without greeting anyone.
"Mr. Zimmerman, I'm sorry to trouble you so late!" Vic stood quickly. "My mother's condition is critical. Please
help her!"
"Letexamine her first." He did not say anything else. He merely opened his medical kit to check Beatrice's
pulse.
"That's Mr. Hunter Zimmerman, the pharmaceutical expert," Jeremy whispered to Yolanda while standing beside
her.
