"Hmm..." Rowan fell silent for a moment, then realized Yolanda had a point. "So you'll be able to cback in a

year? That's great!"

"It'll take a year at most. It could be sooner if we track down the people who are trying to kill me."

"I'll do my best!" Rowan becdetermined again after hearing Yolanda's words. "Just wait for my good news!"

After hanging up, Rowan immediately started using his hacking skills to investigate Shadowthorn's movements.

Meanwhile, Yolanda took a shower and went to bed early.

The next morning, Yolanda woke up early but stayed in her room. Around ten, she cdownstairs to the living

room to find Harold's family and Skylar had arrived again.

"Uncle Joe, I've asked around. They're still gathering evidence, so lawyers aren't allowed to see Aunt Diana yet.

But the situation isn't too bad," Skylar told Joe confidently. "I've already had people smooth things over. They

won't give Aunt Diana any trouble!"

"Thank you for your help." Joe seemed relieved to hear his wife was not being mistreated.

As Yolanda walked downstairs while checking her phone, she received a text. Vic had given orders to have Diana

released.

"Well, if it isn't the Henderson family's failure," Alice mocked when she saw Yolanda. "Sleeping in again? Are you

planning another day of fooling around?"

"Yolanda, you're not going anywhere today! Stay hand wait for news!" Joe glared at her.

Yolanda said nothing. Facing away from them, she sat down on the couch and browsed her phone casually. She

knew better than to talk to people like Alice. The more attention you gave them, the worse they could get. She

did not want to waste a single minute on them.

Seeing no reaction from Yolanda, Alice lost interest and went back to discussing with Paul and the others about

finding a lawyer for Diana. After a whole night, they still knew nothing about Diana's situation. Yolanda doubted

Skylar was as capable as she claimed.

Twenty minutes later, they heard brakes squealing outside the Henderson mansion. Then Diana walked through

the front door.

"Diana, you're finally back!" Everyone jumped up from their seats in joy. Yvonne was the most excited. She

rushed to the entrance to hug Diana tightly.

"Mom, are you okay? | was so worried yesterday!"

"I'm fine." Though Diana had been frightened, Yolanda had instructed Jeremy not to give her a hard time. So she

had only spent one night in detention and seemed to be in decent spirits.

"See? I'm okay. Don't cry, Yvonne!" Diana smiled warmly at Yvonne's concern.

She had been quite scared when they questioned her yesterday. She could not answer any of their questions, but

the interrogators suddenly left around nine at night and moved her to a private cell.

Diana had gotten ssleep there, and early this morning, they released her. "Aunt Diana, we're so relieved

you're back safely!"
