Chapter 538
Knox had initially cto apologize to Yolanda. Now, with her help, he had gotten a profit of a few thousand
million dollars.
"You can take the first pick of any of these gemstones and I'll take the rest. I'll sell them off and when the money
comes in, I'll give you 60% of that. I'll take the remaining 40%."
In sways, Knox was considerably kind to people he considered part of his community.
Yolanda had only contributed 200 million dollars, but he was willing to give her 60% of the earnings.
However, Yolanda did not have much of an interest in these gemstones.
"I'll take the last 2 sapphires. You can take the others. Process it however you want. You don't have to give me
the money."
"No! That cannot be done." Knox refused to agree.
"You would have lost money then!"
"These two sapphires alone cost 1000 million dollars," Yolanda said on purpose to see Knox's reaction.
"If that's the case, are you sure you don't want to take more?" Knox wasn't petty about it. After hearing the real
prices of the two sapphires, he didn't show any signs of regret or unwillingness.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Yes." Yolanda nodded with satisfaction.
At least, for now, Knox could still be someone useful if kept by her side.
"Okay, Ms. Henderson. If you need my help in any way in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me."
Knox thought about it and nodded. Then, he added, "I've got to sell these gems quickly to get things over and
done with."
Edna was actually affiliated with the infamous Tartarus Abyss. Who knew if she would take action in the nof
those gems because she wanted them?
"When you go home, tell your father about the bracelet," Yolanda said slowly. "I feel like the schof the
bracelet is most probably aimed at him."
Knox might be Vic's only son, but he was still young. Vic wasn't old enough to retire yet, so harming Knox
wouldn't be as impactful.
"I got it. Before | went out, | had already given my dad a call. I've also arranged for someone to watch Edna and
see who else she has been in contact with recently."
Knox was no fool either. He had made the necessary arrangements ahead of time.
"Okay. Please callwhen you get news." Yolanda looked at the tand said, "Please sendto Willow Creek
Clinic."
"Sure thing!" Knox answered immediately.
"You'll be there in 20 minutes tops!"
30 minutes later, Yolanda had already changed into her doctor's gown and was meeting patients for
consultations at Willow Creek Clinic.
There were quite a lot of patients today. Derek wasn't able to take care of all the patients, so the moment
Yolanda arrived at the clinic, she had already changed and started helping him out.
"Dunstan, get registration to arrange for the upcoming patients to cback tomorrow."
Derek looked at the patients who were lining up to register and deduced that even if he and Yolanda were to see
others at the stime, that amount of patients would take them the entire afternoon.
If they were to continue giving out numbers, there would be spatients who would have to wait the entire
afternoon before they could be seen.
"Okay, I'll arrange for that now." After Dunstan had spoken, he walked briskly to the registration.
Suddenly, a few SUVS stopped in front of the clinic. Their doors opened, and two dozen people cout of the
SUVS. They started marching toward the clinic.
They were led by a red-haired lady, whose outfit looked very unique. She cto the clinic and gave the door a
roundhouse kick.
There were a bunch of vigorous, strong young men behind her. They all had dark expressions, exhibiting a
menacing air as they marched in arrogantly.
