Reborn Omega: Avenge Herself Like an Alpha
Chapter 49 The Price of Survival
Aubrey’s POV
+ Pende
After | finished speaking, Charles just stood there like he'd turned to stone. For a moment, | actually wondered if
he'd even heard me.
The only reason I'd shared any of this with him was because, out of all the Lynn family members, he seemed to
have something resembling a conscience. As the Lynn family’s future head, it was better he saw Aurelia’s true
face now than let her keep manipulating him-and one day turn him against me.
| wanted to sever that mother-daughter duo’s claws at the root-one by one,
And | would find out who was behind them. If Aurelia and Bailey were the ones who killedin life, then the one
backing them was their accomplice.
my last
Back then, Aurelia broughthere too. Right in this villa, she shattered my right arm. She smeared wolfsbane
extract into the wound so | couldn’t heal. To break me, she lockedhere for three months- beatinguntil |
was nothing but blood and broken bone.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt| tried to escape. But the reinforced cages and countless alarm systems crushed every attempt. Each failure was
punished with more brutal beatings. More than once, | felt death brush its cold fingers across my skin, trying to
draginto the dark forever.
The memories coiled like venomous snakes around my heart, tightening with every breath. Rage. Shame. Hatred
carved so deep it ached in my bones. | couldn't take it anymore.
| needed release.
I left Charles behind, still frozen, and walked off without another word.
Once | was out of sight, | shifted. Wolf form. | took off like lightning.
The wind screamed in my ears. Running at full speed tore atin the best way-it was as if the broken
fragments of those memories were being hurled behindwith every bound. But it wasn’t enough. Not
yet.
Then | heard it.
A piercing scream ripped through the night-a girl's voice, soaked in terror.
“Help! Please, letgo! Don't!"
It cfrom up ahead and to the left. | skidded to a halt, claws gouging deep ruts in the dirt. Without a second
of hesitation, | wheeled around and bolted toward the voice.
| rounded the corner of a crumbling/grey building and found a reeking, half-collapsed garbage yard.
And there, on a pile of rotting trash, a raggedly dressed female Omega was crying and begging for mercy.
Pinning her down was a filthy, ugly male werewolf, his pants shoved down to his knees, exposing his revolting
arousal as he tried to force himself into her.
“You lowborn Omega bitch.” he growled. “Getting to serve a beta warrior likeis your honor! You know how
many Omegas begto mark them?”
The drunk brute held her arms down, sneering like a beast.
Chapter 49 The Price of Survival.
Those words-so familiar. The spoison I'd heard from Aurelia and Bailey.
“Aubrey, you're an Omega. You think you're qualified to hold a scalpel and treat people?”
“Aubrey, you're an Omega. You were born to serve us betas as a maid!”
“Aubrey, you're an Omega. Being Bailey's stepping stone is the highest honor you'll ever have!”
So what if I'm an Omega?
Does that mean I'm born to be trampled? Used? Humiliated?
Does being an Omega stripof dignity-of basic rights? Do | exist just to grovel and serve?
No.
The Moon Goddess never said Omegas were lesser.
“It’s you filthy worms who've tarnished the pride of our kind!”
“Roar!”
I let out a furious howl and lunged at the male, all my rage and hatred burning in that single strike.
