Chapter 476
But the truth was, they really were feeling the pressure from their families.
Stella might technically be a Williams, but she hadn't grown up in the Williams estate. She'd never spent a cent
of the family's money, and the Williamses couldn't, in good conscience, expect her to shoulder any of their
obligations.
Katrina grinned. "Star, | was waiting for you to say that! Good thing you didn't start dithering or second-guessing
yourself, or I'd have to give up hope on you."
Wendy nodded in agreement. "We're just dealing with a pair of cheaters. Sorting them out? That's child's play."
The three of them turned to Lauretta.
"Lauretta, we'll leave this to you."
Lauretta's smile was as poised as ever, but her eyes were sharp as flint.
"So Rachel thinks she can find herself smuscle and push Star around, just because she thinks Star's got no
one in her corner. Well, she's wrong. Star has us, and as long as we're here, no one gets to mess with her."
Katrina nodded emphatically. "Exactly! Let's give those two exactly what they deserve."
That very evening, Lauretta, Wendy, and Katrina took to their social feeds, posting that they'd be special guests
at Stella's upcoming concert.

They weren't influencers or celebrities, so their posts didn't go viral-among ordinary people, barely anyone
noticed.
But within high society, news spread fast.
Lauretta's account might only have a few tens of thousands of followers, but most
of them were the sons and daughters of the elite.
Even Aurora was following Lauretta.
In their world, Lauretta's status was nearly equal to hers-both were at the top of the social food chain.
As a genuine heiress, Lauretta had never cared much for self-promotion, and she certainly didn't need to drum
up hype for her own concert. She had both talent and looks, and, with more money than she could spend, had no
need for attention or intefame.
It had been two or three years since she last posted anything.
This time, as soon as her update went live, thousands of comments poured in.
Aurora sat by the window, sipping her coffee. When she saw Lauretta's post, she paused for a moment, then
gave it a like.
Lauretta might well be her future sister-in-law, and it never hurt to stay on good terms-no need to make things
difficult for her brother.
But then she saw Stella's npop up in the post.
Her finger hovered.
"Stella?"
A moment later, Aurora smiled to herself.
"Probably just someone with the sname."
If Stella really had such powerful friends, would her divorce have made headlines?
Most likely, she was just desperate for attention, hoping to get her father and brothers to notice her.
The O'Brien household.
Deanna O'Brien ran her fingers
the invitation that had just a from the Burton family
top to her daughter Gallie.
"The Burtons Sent an invitation-end of the month, they're holding a concert. heard they've invited several of the
top families: the
Chapmans, the Williamses, the
Watsons, the Lermans, and the Gardners. Word is, the three
Williams brothers are all still single. You'd better make a good
impression at that party. If you catch the eye of any one of them, you'll be set for life. They say those brothers
are all handsome, charming, the whole package... Didn't you say you liked good-looking men? Well, now's your
chance-snag one of them."
Callie was scrolling through her phone and just rolled her eyes.
"As if someone likecould land of
Williams. Isn't the current head the family, Skyler Williams, still single? If you're so amazing, why don't you try
your luck with him?"
a
Deanna's expression turned icy. "Watch your mouth. That's no way to talk to your mother."
Callie shrank back, falling silent.
Right then, her eyes widened in shock, and she let out a sudden shriek.
"Ah!"
