Chapter 1385:
Ethan's tone grew firm. “Mom, just let it go. Young people have their own plans. Let them handle things
themselves.”
Fury boiled over as Elsa hurled her cup aside and yelled into her phone, “I've poured my whole life into this
family! All these years, you never once listened to a thing I said. Now you've grown up, I'm getting older, and
still, I get no support, no understanding from you. Every word out of my mouth, you find a way to argue. What
good are you to me? From this day on, I'll never ask you for a single thing again!”
The call had ended, but her emotions still roiled.
Sleep eluded her that night. She tossed from side to side, haunted by the realization that neither of her sons felt
close to her anymore.
When she finally drifted off, her dreams were filled with her darling granddaughter. She swept the little girl into
her arms, peppering her face with kisses and beaming with joy as she looked at her.

several times over the matter.
Still, Elsa’s visits continued.
One bright morning, she packed a bag, bought a new toy, and set out for Rosanna’s place once again.
The sunshine had drawn plenty of people outside. Elsa, now a regular on the block and remembered for her days
as a celebrity, attracted friendly greetings everywhere she went.
