He stood up and said coldly, “Dad, Zane, Joanne. | have another appointment later, so I'll head out now. I'll be
back the day after tomorrow for dinner, but | won't make it tomorrow.”
Allen had planned to keep Lucien around to talk about his blind date thing, but...

The dinner meeting was scheduled at the Prosperity Hotel. Jude brought two lawyers from his team, Kaia and
Warren.
Knowing that Kaia had stomach problems, he specifically brought Warren along to handle the drinking.
From Graves Group's side, besides Julian, there were two executives from the investment department and a
deputy director from finance, all core members of Graves Group's leadership team.
“Mr. Rhodes, I've heard so much about you,” Jude greeted warmly, shaking Julian’s hand before introducing Kaia
and Warren with confidence.

Later, Jude and Julian dominated the dinner conversation while Alvin Blake from Graves Group's investment
department smiled and waved over a server. “Everyone drinks, right?”
His gaze deliberately settled on Kaia as he grinned. “Can Ms. Domont handle alcohol?”
Jude was about to tell him that Kaia couldn't drink, but then he heard Kaia speak up confidently, “I'm not much
